and Fairfax as well as Alexandria. Its programs include parenting classes for
families; partnership in the Success by 6 ® project to help children get a healthy
and education-ready start in school; and the nationally known Court-Appointed
Special Advocate (CASA) program, through which specially trained volunteers advocate
for children who are in the juvenile court system due to abuse or neglect or for
custody-related issues.
