Welcome to the Center for the Study and
Prevention of Youth Violence.


The Center, in collaboration with university researchers and the communities of Richmond, promotes state of the art violence prevention programs around priorities identified by the community. 

These collaborative efforts aim to interrupt the cycle of violence, contribute to healing and create safe, healthy environments where youth and families can grow and thrive, free of violence
